SW1 charity for 2012 - MS Society

MS Society Logo

For our fundraising over 2011 to 2012, SW1 Ltd has decided to support the MS Society.

This is a charity who provide support, services and up to date research information to all who are affected by the disease.

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is the most common disabling neurological condition affecting young adults. Around 100,000 people in the UK have MS.

MS is the result of damage to myelin - a protective sheath surrounding nerve fibres of the central nervous system. when myelin is damaged, this interferes with messages between the brain and other parts of the body. For some people, MS is characterised by periods of relapse and remission while for others it has a progressive pattern. For everyone, it makes life unpredictable.

SW1 is committed to raising as much money as possible for the charity and with your support we can do more. If you are able to spare time or funds to support our endeavours please contact us. Events during the year will be posted below.
